Five at-large directors were elected in early May to the Board of the Fox School of Business Alumni Association (FSBAA). The board plans alumni events, develops professional development opportunities, manages the alumni association budget and works to keep the FSBAA’s 65,000 alumni connected.
The at-large directors serve a three-year term beginning on July 1, 2021. Meet the new directors.
Viv is a technology and entertainment enthusiast with a passion for customer experience. She is currently a rotational director in the Comcast NBCUniversal Rotational Leadership Program. As part of the program, she has had the opportunity to work in mobile technology product strategy, film business development and strategy in Los Angeles as well as in corporate strategy at the company’s headquarters in Philadelphia. Before Comcast, she spent seven years developing and leading a new vision for Temple University’s institutional marketing department that elevated the role of user research in marketing. She earned her MBA from Temple University in 2018.
For fun, Viv enjoys a good old-fashioned board game and has started to incorporate more non-fiction books onto her historically fantasy/sci-fi reading list. She also volunteers at an organization founded to address mental health issues in young people through mindfulness and fitness.
Nicole is a people connector and change agent committed to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. As a former finance professional, she worked for Accenture managing clients in the financial services and technology division. She has also worked at ConEdison and Showtime Networks, she played an integral part in the management of the company’s top revenue affiliate accounts. Recently, she completed the Diversity and Inclusion Program at Cornell University. Upon entering the media and entertainment industry 15 years ago, Nicole became an active member of NAMIC (National Association of Multi-Ethnicity in Communications), a 14-chapter, national organization whose mission is to educate, advocate and empower for multi-ethnic diversity in the communications industry.
Nicole’s passions and interests intersect in her community involvement. She is currently the co-chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee at RCDS and a founding Board Member of The Kool Nerd Foundation, which is a youth-based program, connecting students to careers in STEM. She has served as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS), which is considered the founding agency of the nation’s youth mentoring movement. She served as a Board of Trustee Member for Rye Country Day School (RCDS), ranked #7 in Best Private Schools in NYC and ranked #26 in Best Private Schools in America by Niche. She has also been a volunteer teacher in China with Global Language Villages.
Eric serves as corporate counsel for EMD Electronics, an Affiliate of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. While at Temple, Eric was co-chair of the J&H Judicial Board, president of the J&H Freshman Senate, worked at the IBC, participated in Greek life and was also a NCAA scholar-athlete and member of Temple University’s Rowing and Rugby teams. Eric also found time to organize volunteers and fundraise for various wonderful non-profits such as the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Alzheimer’s Society, American Cancer Society, Red Cross and the Salvation Army. Before receiving his BBA from Fox, Eric raised thousands of dollars for a variety of charities and completed thousands of community service hours.
After receiving his JD from Rutgers, Eric served as a judicial law clerk to a New Jersey Superior Court Judge and was engaged in private practice for national and regional law firms. Eric is currently a member of the Owl Club and volunteers his time for his community’s Human Relations Commission, as well as a variety of other service organizations.
Corey Lewis, BBA ’17 – Re-elected to a second term*
Corey is a strategic marketing – product & brand development professional, with a demonstrated history of excelling effortlessly within the integrated marketing industry. He is also currently a Real Estate Acquisitions Specialist at Shaw Development Industries LLC. Corey is highly skilled in marketing research, cost analysis, IBM’s SPSS data analytics software, Cloud computing (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) software and the Adobe Creative Suite. Corey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration & Marketing from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.
Corey has served on the FSBAA Board of directors for three years. During his first term, Corey has served on the Communications Committee and most recently drove the effort to implement a Community Engagement Committee, which he chairs.
Donald is a wealth manager with 19 years of professional experience and extensive expertise in financial planning and wealth management. His focus includes but is not limited to net worth/cash flow management, investment management, retirement planning and estate planning. He also holds a number of leadership positions with several charitable and nonprofit organizations.
Donald is currently a Vice President/Wealth Strategist with PNC Wealth Management serving high net worth clients. Previously he held positions as a wealth management advisor with TIAA, Investment Representative with Fidelity Investments and an account officer with J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Donald holds a BA in Finance from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and an MBA from Pennsylvania State University School of Graduate Professional Studies.
