There is a robust area of research on the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) in business education, including here at the Fox School of Business and School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management.
SoTL focuses on the study, development and dissemination of effective teaching practices within the context of business-related disciplines. Key aspects of this field include pedagogical innovation, evidenced-based practice and collaboration/dissemination.
By engaging in, and sharing, their research and experiences, Fox and STHM faculty and staff contribute to the broader community of business educators and facilitate teaching excellence in business education. These activities elevate the quality of instruction by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and collaboration among faculty.
