An education from Temple University prepares students for their path to success in their professional lives.
However, their educational career as an Owl doesn’t have to stop with an undergraduate degree.
It can continue through a world-class graduate program.
On Nov. 5, the Fox School of Business’ department of graduate admissions hosted the Graduate Program Fair inside Alter Hall. Designed for an undergraduate audience, the event provided students with detailed information into Temple’s continued education offerings. Offerings from both the the Fox School and School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM), including the 4+1 program, were included.
Whether students already planned to enroll in a graduate program, or were just curious to learn more, the event offered attendees details on how to take their Temple education further.
“This fair was a great way to connect with our undergraduate population and showcase the continuing education opportunities that Fox, STHM and other schools offer,” said Christopher Spangler, the Fox School and STHM’s assistant dean of strategic marketing and communications.
“Both Fox and STHM offer a myriad of graduate programs that build upon the foundation of Temple’s undergraduate degrees, expanding professional opportunities and opening up exciting new career pathways for our students. It’s important we make them aware of these options while they are here on campus—an event like this helps us accomplish that.”

While learning about the school’s graduate programs, attending students had the opportunity to speak directly to program faculty and staff at the event. Fox Forward points were also given to Fox students for their attendance.
The fair was well attended by students at various points in their academic pursuits, including some that are still early in their time at Temple.
“As a sophomore, I attended today’s fair because I thought this would be a great way for me to meet people who were going to have a lot of information regarding graduate programs,” Anusha Kane, class of 2028, says.
“While I was aware of certain programs, this gave me a chance to find out more and ask faculty specific questions. Everyone was very nice and willing to take their time with me—finding out answers and information only made me feel more confident about understanding their programs’ full offerings.”
Attending upperclassman also found the fair to be beneficial to them.
“It would be great to be a Temple student for a few more years, especially if it leads to a better career trajectory or if I decide to stay in academia,” says senior statistical science and data analytics major Ramdhan Russell, class of 2026.
“I’ve found myself seriously considering graduate school pursuits as an alternative to entering the professional industry straightaway, and, as a statistics major, that could be the statistics PhD program. It was nice to be able to come to this event and talk directly to that program’s faculty instead of just relying on what is available online.”
