We are stepping into this chapter at an important moment, not only for Fox, but for Temple University as a whole.
Temple is moving forward with Forward with Purpose, an ambitious strategic plan centered on student success, while also navigating the broader challenges facing higher education. At the same time, there is meaningful momentum across the university, particularly in the strength and generosity of our Temple community.
As President Fry recently shared, “Fiscal year 2026 remains the most successful fundraising year in Temple’s history with $159 million raised. That record reflects the extraordinary confidence of our alumni, donors and friends in Temple and our future.”
That confidence is powerful and it is a reminder of the important role we, as alumni, can play in shaping what comes next.
Fox is an important part of that story.
Our collective experience, relationships and resources are among the greatest assets we can bring back to the school. My goal is for the Fox alumni association to be more than a network we belong to. I want it to be a community we actively participate in—a place where alumni can connect, contribute, mentor, collaborate and create opportunities for one another and for the next generation of Fox leaders.
There are many ways to be part of this community. Through our Global Mentorship Program, alumni can support and guide the next generation of Fox leaders. Our community engagement initiatives create opportunities to give back to the local community and make an impact beyond the classroom. The Professional Speaker Series brings alumni and business leaders together to share insights, experiences, and perspectives. And, of course, some of the best connections happen when we simply have the opportunity to mix, mingle and reconnect at events like homecoming and our annual holiday party.
I also encourage you to consider joining one of our alumni committees. Committees provide meaningful opportunities to share your ideas, contribute your expertise, support Fox students and programs, help shape our programming and build connections with fellow graduates.
Whether you graduated last year or decades ago, whether you live in Philadelphia or across the country, there is a place for you here.
I invite you to reconnect with Fox, explore the ways you can get involved, share your ideas and bring your networks and experiences back to the community that helped shape you.
There is a lot happening at Temple. There is a lot happening at Fox. And there is an incredible opportunity for us, as alumni, to be part of what comes next.
