Dr. Gary Blau is a professor of Human Resource Management (HRM) at the Fox School of Business. In 1982, he received his PhD in Organizational Behavior from the University of Cincinnati. He is a past chair of the HRM department and was assistant dean of both the MBA and PhD programs at the Fox School. He is actively involved in the Fox DBA program, including as a Research Mentor. His current research interests focus on a wide range of human resource related topics including: organizational belonging; emotional intelligence; employee deviant work behavior; career-related outcomes; employee work outcomes; scale development; and survey methodology. He currently teaches “Leading People in Organizations” (HRM 3502) and “Critical Skills for Effective Managers” (HRM 4597).
