“Destination Fox” is a new video series showcasing the international graduate student experience at Temple University’s Fox School of Business and within the city of Philadelphia.
On this episode of “Destination Fox,” series host Ethan Kelly, the Fox School’s associate director of communications, welcomes international graduate student Thiago Resende to the show.
Originally from Brazil, Resende opens the show by explaining his journey to being a graduate student at the Fox School of Business and the decision-making that went into the process. After a subway and bus ride from Temple’s Main Campus, the two visit one of Resende’s favorite spots in the city: Fairmount Park.
In addition to sharing why he most enjoys the park itself, Resende discusses how he’s come to love the city of Philadelphia, how he finds connections in Philadelphia to his home country and a fun conversation related to his admiration for cheesesteaks.
Before ending the episode near the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Kelly also asks him why he thinks more international students should consider coming to the Fox School, and what advice he would give them.
