Kicking off the spring 2025 semester’s episodes, series host Ethan Duer, the Fox School’s assistant director of content strategy, is joined by Saineesh Ellapah, a first-year finance major for a walk throughout Temple University’s Main Campus.

Braving the cold for a walk to a coffee stop within Alter Hall, Ellapah, an international student from Mauritius, an island country in the Indian Ocean, shares insights with Duer about his journey to Temple and the process of acclimating to being far from home. In addition to discussing Ellapah’s newly formed on-campus affiliations, the two wrapped up their conversation by participating in one of his favorite on campus activities: playing badminton.
